The league's starting to work itself out a little bit, as we can see that Seymour and Wolcott are probably 1-2 in the league. But there's a bunch of teams in the middle, including Naugatuck, Woodland, Holy Cross, Torrington, Crosby, and Ansonia, and a few more teams in the hunt, such as Watertown and Sacred Heart.
This week we'll continue to get a little more separation. Here's our Monday games:
Wolcott (4-1) at Holy Cross (3-2), 3:30 PM at Holy Cross HS
Kennedy (0-5) at Wilby (1-4), 3:30 PM at Montoe Park
Watertown (2-3) at Sacred Heart (1-4), 3:30 PM at Municipal Stadium
Crosby (4-1) at Naugatuck (2-3), 3:30 PM at Naugatuck HS
Ansonia (3-2) at Woodland (2-3), 3:30 PM at Woodland HS
Torrington (3-2) at Seymour (5-0), 4:00 PM at French Park
I'll take: Wolcott, Wilby, Sacred Heart, Naugatuck, Woodland, and Seymour.
All these games scheduled for Monday were postponed due to rain until Tuesday. Still, post your predictions/scores here.

Holy Cross over Wolcott. Wolcott's bats unimpressive and the Eagles used all top three pitchers against Naugatuck on Friday.
ReplyDeleteWilby over Kennedy. 'Cats looking like one of the stronger inner-city teams this season and Eagles still win-less.
Hearts over Watertown. Hearts finally starting to heat up after their first win over Ansonia.
Naugy over Crosby. Hounds bats getting hot hitting 3 homers against Wolcott despite a 9-5 loss.
Woodland over Ansonia. If the Hawks pitching shows up, they should be able to knock the ball around against the Charger's pitching.
Seymour over Torrington. 'Cats lineup too dominant for Raiders.
Good stuff Woody. Hard to argue with your Cross/Wolcott pick too... that should be the game of the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of you. The Holy Cross and Wolcott game is the game of the Day.
ReplyDeleteCrosby is looking good, Everyone in the team are working together. That is the key to winning! I have Crosby winning today.
Woodland/Ansonia postponed until tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteCrosby/Naugatuck also postponed to tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI doubt if any games were played. Looked like maybe an early call at first before the rain started, but it would have been a wise decision in the end.
ReplyDeleteAll the games are postponed to Tuesday afternoon. You can post all your scores here... if we can get them in.
ReplyDeleteAnsonia over Woodland, 15-5. Hawks put up a 5 spot in the 1st and were shut out after that.
ReplyDeleteSeymour over Torrington 9-0
ReplyDeleteWould also assume Wednesday's games are all postponed again.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know if Wolcott at Holy Cross today is a 3:30 or 6 o clock start?
ReplyDeleteMust be a 6:00 start...
ReplyDeleteWoodland crushed Kennedy, 14-0, to get back on track. They have Sacred Heart Friday. Sorry for no new post for today's games, but if anyone has more scores, post them here.
Seymour over Crosby 90-0. Maybe not that bad, but I did lose count somewhere in the sixth.
ReplyDeleteOuch... Woodland held on to beat Sacred Heart, 10-7.
ReplyDeleteNaugy 4 Torrington 0. Rice pitched very well.
ReplyDeletehey holy cross lost a couple of superstars to a drinkin party and havent missed a beat.......
ReplyDeletetimmy and kyle carry this team......
