The City Jamboree scheduled for Saturday at Buck's Hills Park in Waterbury has been canceled due to wet field conditions. It will not be rescheduled as the regular season begins Wednesday.
That is too bad, as this promised to be a great event for city high school baseball. Hopefully we will see it again next season.
