  1. Game of the day has to be Cross at Ansonia. Chargers coming off a big 4-0 divisional win over Crosby to claim third in the Brass for the first half of the season while Cross struggled putting the bat on the ball against Torrington winning only 4-3. I think Ansonia will pull away with this one.
Naugatuck at Watertown potentially another close game, but Naugy's Greg Rice has been outstanding so far this season and he'll look to give the Indians' bats some trouble. I'm going to go with the Hounds on this one. Oh and speaking of the Hounds, congratulations to Coach Plasky for maintaining his head football coaching position at NHS.
Outside of these two games, I'll take Wolcott, Crosby, Woodland, and Seymour.

  2. Wilby beat Woodland, 5-0. Carosella pitched a great game for the Wildcats, who scored all 5 (2 earned) in the 5th.

  3. sacred heart 5-3 over wolcott
jimmy cap goes all the way for the win on the hill, in the top of the 7th down 3-2 baserunners on first and second two outs, seranno (the hotest player in the league)singles in the tieing run, then caporale doubles to score two runs for the hearts to go up 5-3. cap takes the mound in the bottom of the 7th with wolcotts 1,2 &3 batters up. they go down 123 with a huge strike out on catalina to end the game. big win for the hearts......

  5. Even with Renzoni not pitching as best as he can, the cats still look unbeatable. No one has the bat power to compete with them. Murphy and Burns have been hot all season. Renzoni had 2 HR's and a double yesterday..looks like he's getting hot..watch out.

  6. Cornwell is also 5-0 on the mound with around 35 innings with a 0.00 era.

  8. I don't think that game will be close. As good as sacred heart played against wolcott, I just don't see it happening.
