Here's our next set of divisional games for Wednesday:

Seymour (3-0; 1-0) at Watertown (2-1; 1-0), 11 AM at Deland Field
Wolcott (3-0; 1-0) at Crosby (2-1; 0-1), 11 AM at Crosby HS
Ansonia (2-0; 0-1) at Wilby (1-2; 0-1), 11 AM at Montoe Park
Sacred Heart (0-3; 0-1) at Holy Cross (1-2; 0-1), 1 PM at Holy Cross HS
Kennedy (0-3; 0-1) at Naugatuck (1-2; 1-0), 3:30 PM at Naugatuck HS
Woodland (1-2; 1-0) at Torrington (2-1; 1-0), 3:45 PM at Fuessenich Park

I'll take: Seymour, Wolcott, Ansonia, Holy Cross, Naugatuck, Woodland.

  1. I will go with Watertown, Wolcott, Ansonia, and Sacred Heart.
    Both Sacred Heart & Holy Cross need to win. It's going to be a good game.

  6. Woodland: 7, Torrington: 2

    Kyle Georgia pitched 5 strong innings for the Hawks, who needed 6 runs in the 6th and 7th to come back for the win. Jason Skibek came in for the 2-inning save.

    Naugatuck: 8, Kennedy: 2

    Very interesting, especially the Crosby score. The Bulldogs scored all their runs off Steve Catalina as well.

    Chris Renzoni and Tim Bessette each pitched gems for their teams, allowing 2 and 4 hits, respectively.

  8. It's going to take a couple weeks at least for the league to shake out. It seems like all the power is in the Brass but things will change fast over the comign weeks. Stay tuned!
